Children of the Revolution

Here’s something you don’t see everyday.. The very stylish Nina from our Brisbane store co-ordinating her outfit with a squirrel

This takes our famous window displays to a whole new level. Sorry if you missed it but do feel free to come in or send us an email and ask Nina to wear it again.

Our latest window display….yes it is toy cars….

Check out our latest window display

People love our window displays but I think we may have reached new heights with this one. Maybe it helped because last reports are that the cbd hasn’t flooded as badly as was first thought in this afternoon’s high tide. Just gotta get through the night now.

For those of you who think the cbd is too waterlogged – we’ll bring our latest window to you.

Do we have fabulous shoes?

Entrant Number three in our window competition

Hannah’s gorgeous window display featured gazillions of red shoes (I had no idea we had so many) and the message “Live your Childhood Fantasy.”

It was extremely popular with everyone and inspired lots of customers to try on red shoes which as far as I can see can never be a bad thing.

We’ve had a few questions about how you guys are going to be able to vote via the internet and the answer is I don’t really know yet. But Jaymis our marvellous technical web guru says it’s easy and I believe him.

Next entrant in our window display competition

I know you guys are all hanging out for the announcement of our hysteria inducing stocktake sale. We’re working on it I promise.

But in the meantime here’s number 2 entrant in our staff “who does the best window display” competition.

Just in case anyone was thinking this was a trivial piece of entertainment, I would like to remind you that the owner of the winning window (as voted by you) gets a half day off to run away to the movies.

This is serious folks.

So here it is. Remember it, love it and vote for it…..

Our window display competition – tell us what you think!

As we explained in the last newsletter we have challenged everyone who works in the store to come up with their best window display. Each person has one week to show their stuff. We are going to blog about it and at the end we are going to get you, our loyal fans to vote and tell us whose display was the best. The winner gets a half day off to go to the movies so you can imagine we are all fighting pretty hard!

We already put Nina’s puzzle theme in the newsletter (which I have belatedly realised gave her a huge advantage) but here it is again. The message was “puzzled about shoes? Come in and see us.”

What do you think?
