We have some very happy winners of El Naturalistas.

Here are some photos of Sally and Corinne drawing the winners in our Sydney store – and even a photo of one of our winners who happened to be there at the time! How lucky is that???!!!

Our two winners from Thursday in our Brisbane store are Katrina and Glenda. I’m about to make those phonecalls which are the phonecalls that make my whole week.

We’re giving away free El Naturalistas

Most people who visit our site know about our El Naturalista obsession. Our new winter stock is here and so to really fan the fire, we are giving away 4 pairs. It works like this. For the next 2(ish) weeks, everyone who buys a pair of new season El Naturalistas gets to put their name on a card which will go into a jar. On Thursday at 2.00 we will draw out 2 winners. Those people get the chance to either have their shoes refunded or get a different pair of El Naturalistas for free. We’ll do the same thing next Thursday and as as added bonus, if the winner is in the store when we do the draw – they’ll get a bonus $100 gift voucher.

Win a double pass to While Others Sleep

The gorgeous people at the Judith Wright Centre are offering a double pass to While Others Sleep on 15 August. It looks great.

Here’s what it’s about.

Contemporary dance and live jazz collide spectacularly in this anticipated new full-length work by critically acclaimed Australian
choreographer Natalie Weir.

Inspired by a book, by the same title, of contemporary photography authored by Peta Neylan and edited by Naomi Mendoza, the production While Others Sleep explores interior late-night worlds, where hidden identities and complex dualities are let free.

Weir creates three vignettes of intensely physical and highly emotional contemporary dance underscored by seductive live jazz by popular Brisbane trio Misinterprotato. Set in cabaret mode, this is contemporary dance at its sharpest – flirtatious, salacious and utterly
bewitching.

While Others Sleep is a major production by Expressions Dance Company, Judith Wright Centre and Misinterprotato. The performance marks a significant milestone in the history of Expressions Dance Company and Judith Wright Centre, who are collaborating for the very first time.

One perfect day winner announced – and our next cool thing

Lot’s of people have been asking who was our winner of the One Perfect Day Competition.

We’ll announce who she was in our next newsletter coming out next week (God willing) but in the meantime, here’s a peak at what she bought with her voucher.
